At the highest levels of business, relationships are rarely built on spreadsheets alone. They are cultivated through shared experiences, cultural fluency and a mutual appreciation of craft. At Engee Advisors, we see a considered understanding of fine wines and spirits as a real asset for senior leaders — a global currency that opens doors and deepens client relationships.

Our masterclasses are designed for the CXO suite, wealth managers and leadership teams. Through the lens of oenology and distillation, we explore themes that matter in the boardroom: terroir, patience, market complexity and heritage. Each session can anchor a client appreciation event, an executive offsite or a leadership development retreat.

Corporate masterclasses

01

The Champagne Strategy: Celebrating Milestones & Mastery

Previously presented: Dom Pérignon & The World of Champagnes

Great Champagne, like enduring corporate success, balances innovation with tradition and rewards patience. The session explores the history, regulation and terroir of Champagne, and draws parallels with brand equity, prestige pricing and marking corporate milestones.

02

Whiskies of the World: Navigating Global Complexity

Ideal for: global teams and cross-border networking events

From the peaty shores of Islay to the precision of Japanese distilling, the session unpacks maturation, distillation and regional character. The “angel's share” becomes a lesson in long-term investment and the value of time — in wealth creation as in spirit maturation.

03

Wealth & Wines: The Intersection of Portfolio and Palate

Tailored for: wealth management and private banking client events

Fine wine has become a tangible alternative asset class. The session bridges financial markets and viticulture — exploring scarcity, emerging regions such as Hungary, and how to navigate a Michelin-starred wine list with confidence at critical client dinners.

The facilitator: bridging the boardroom and the cellar

Sessions are led by Naveen Gupta — a WSET Level 3 certified educator in Wines and in Spirits, an SMU-certified executive coach, and formerly Global Product Head for FX and Interest Rate products in the Wealth Management business at Standard Chartered Bank. The tasting is the vehicle; the purpose is cultural capital, informed by decades of navigating financial markets, leading global teams and hosting high-net-worth clients.
